[English] Dry dock: A Cyberpunk location

“A rusty dry dock turned into a football field.”

What happened here?
-------------------------------------------------------
Public Knowledge: The local naval base shot down one of their own killdolls.
-------------------------------------------------------
Just before an explosion rocked the harbour basin, sensors installed in the floodlight towers above the football field had registered unusual stress with the playing children. This system is called EmotionCapture. The city administration is running trials at various public places. The stated goal is to minimize response times for emergency services. To that end, EmotionCapture, in addition to its own capabilities, is allowed to access users' health insurance ID and live data via wearables. However, because the connection was down due to an incoming killdoll and has been down since at the navy's request, none of the information was actually relayed. Military intelligence has classified it by now.

According to a navy spokesperson, what has been shot down by a cruiser's SAM that evening, was a friendly killdoll. These dolls are former weapon platforms that, today, remain unarmed and in use for environmental studies in the arctic. The navy claims that their cruiser mistakenly believed the situation to be a live-fire exercise, which experts call extremely unlikely.

While a silent harbour basin is beset by dive teams and military vessels, navy technicians and operators continue to crawl the surrounding facilities. Still, not all parts of the wreckage strewn over the port have been found.

Pick a descriptive approach:
1 The letters SAR in faded red on a once sleek vessel sitting next to the dock.
2 Floatdolls individually tracking every player on the field.
3 The turnstile asking for a CityCard. The terms of use are displayed after entrance.
4 Kids flickering on vivid green in an AR replay of the last match.

Meet
...a woman with an odd assortment of scopes, meters and other instruments, camped out at the far end of the dock, watching the gentle waves. She'll lie to people politely approaching her and say she's out here for a pacifist group documenting the military operations.
...shy kids eyeing her from a distance.

Meet
...a huddled bunch of operators sent over from the base, anxiously lifting liquorice orbs, eyedolls, out of their cavities to search this stretch of the basin. Their uniforms say: "Ask us about daily tours of our base!"
...the angry parents beleaguering them.

Leave by
1 a cratered yellow tram. Driving through flooded sections of the line has made the floor coating come off in many places. In the rear, someone has uncovered cabling to recharge wearables.
2 an autonomous tram with the darkly shimmering, many-faced head of an insect instead of a cab. The software has been overhauled completely a couple of months ago after one of them crashed into a minister's limousine, killing her boyfriend.
3 an antique tram with loudly rattling doors and a fake current collector for the tourist groups in the old town.
4 one of the translucent harbour ferries. The navy has mostly shut the lines down, but allows one every couple of hours. Through the glass, the outlines of fish swimming in the dark around the ship are softly traced.

What is up with the wreck?
In case a killdoll should go down behind enemy lines, it will either
...arm a booby-trap.
...hide itself.
...try to recruit people who find it and hack their electronics.

Every day, there's a chance of someone finding the wreckage which is indeed located in a partially flooded tunnel of the dry dock's rusted bowels. Roll 2d6:

If found by a naval operator 4- = it explodes, 7+ = it tries to recruit the finder. Otherwise it stays inert.

If found by a civilian 2 = it explodes, 8+ = it tries to recruit the finder. Otherwise it stays inert.

If found by a kid 2 = it explodes, 7+ = it tries to recruit the finder. Otherwise it stays inert.

What is off about this?
In the replay of the match interrupted by the explosion, AR is showing a kid that can't be accounted for. Unlike the other players, they aren't tagged with their name and other personal info. Camera footage does not show this child. Databases provide no match for facial features, gait or cardiac signature.
